Marvin Agustin, Jolina Magdangal unveil official poster for 'Ex Ex Lovers'

The highly anticipated reunion of Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal is finally happening! The official poster for their upcoming romantic comedy Ex Ex Lovers has been released, with the film set to hit cinemas on 12 February — just in time for the Valentine’s season.

Both Agustin and Magdangal took to social media to share their excitement, posting the official poster along with heartfelt messages of gratitude for their fans.

“Ilang taon namin pinangarap ni labtim ang gumawa ulit ng pelikula,” Agustin wrote, referring to their long-awaited reunion. “Yung ‘90s na romcom — nakakakilig, nakakaiyak, at nakakatawa. Na pangedad namin ngayon.”

(It’s been years since Labtim [Jolina] and I dreamed of making a movie together again. That ‘90s romcom — thrilling, tear-jerking, and funny. That’s our age now.)

He also praised the film’s director, JP Habac, and co-stars Loisa Andalio and Juan Karlos (JK) for bringing fresh energy to the movie.

“At higit sa lahat, sinuportahan pa kami ng mga batang magagaling na artista na sina Loisa & JK. Mababait na, talented pa,” he added.

Agustin also expressed gratitude for their long-time fans who have continuously supported the MarJo love team:
“Salamat sa lahat ng tao na naging part ng MARJO. Ang sarap niyong magmahal!”

Magdangal echoed Agustin’s sentiments, sharing how much they appreciate their fans’ enthusiasm.

“Sobra sobra ang kasiyahan ng puso namin tuwing nakakatapos kami ng promo sa isang araw,” she wrote. “Ramdam namin ang saya at excitement ng mga tao na nami-meet namin sa mall shows, cinema tours, interviews, and guestings. Maraming salamat sa pagmamahal!”

Agustin and Magdangal were among the most beloved tandems of the 1990s, starring in classic films such as Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang? (1998), Kung Ayaw Mo Huwag Mo (1998), and Hey Babe! (1999).

Joining them in Ex Ex Lovers are actor-singer Juan Karlos and actress Loisa Andalio. Directed by JP Habac, the film promises to bring nostalgia and fresh twists for both old and new fans of the iconic love team.
