Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) on Tuesday welcomed the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Snake, in a vibrant celebration of tradition and cultural diversity.
CSMC Chief Medical Officer Dr. Antonio Say said the hospital especially dedicates its celebration to its patients.
"Cardinal Santos is a multicultural center... Since we have a lot of Chinese patients, we celebrate with our patients together for prosperity and good health," Say said.
Say added that this year, CSMC will focus more on personalized patient care.
"We will offer more high technology. It's very important that the patients are taken care of and when they are here, they feel at home," he added.
Joining the celebration were doctors, patients, hospital staff, and members of the Chinese community.
The highlight of the event was the dancing of illuminated lions, a traditional symbol of good luck and prosperity.
The annual Lunar New Year celebration at CSMC exemplifies the hospital's commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
