Solaire Resort Entertainment City is marking the Lunar New Year with a lineup of dining promotions, festive hampers and a themed staycation package, offering guests multiple ways to celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse.
At the center of the celebration is Red Lantern, Solaire’s signature Chinese restaurant, which is offering a special Lunar New Year set menu until 3 March. The menu highlights traditional dishes associated with prosperity and abundance, including Prosperity “Yu Sheng” with fresh salmon, double-boiled duck soup with dried tangerine peel, wok-fried lobster, steamed mud crab, steamed live grouper in soybean sauce and stir-fried wagyu beef with okra and Chinese barbecue sauce.
Other dishes include braised pork belly with abalone, sautéed spinach in superior broth and eight-treasure sticky rice.
Red Lantern is also offering an eat-all-you-can dim sum experience featuring house-made Chinese barbecue, crystal lobster dumplings, deep-fried cheese prawn and “dong po” style braised pork belly.
Buffet restaurant Fresh is presenting a festive spread until 3 March, with dedicated Chinese roasted and dim sum stations. Offerings include treasure pot, roasted duck, Shanghai-style deep-fried fish fillet in soya sauce, deep-fried blue swimmer crabs with salted egg yolk and deep-fried tikoy.
Beyond dining, Solaire is offering Lunar New Year hampers curated with delicacies such as black truffle abalone, bird’s nest with rock sugar, dried Chinese dates with walnut, premium red wine, mung bean cake and chicken essence.
The hampers are available in three collections: Ri Jin Dou Jin priced at P6,888; Fu Gui Ying Me at P13,888; and Ba Fang Lai Cai at P78,888.
Guests may also book a Lunar New Year Deluxe Room staycation package, which includes buffet breakfast for two at Fresh and dining credits.
Solaire said the promotions aim to provide guests with opportunities to celebrate through food, tradition and shared experiences during the festive season.
