Chie Filomeno calls out Dawn Chang over past feud

Actress and performer Chie Filomeno took to X (formerly Twitter) to address fellow entertainer Dawn Chang over their unresolved past conflict.

The exchange reignited after a recent interview featuring Chang on Stanley Chi and Anjo Yllana’s Men’s Room podcast went viral, three months after it was originally uploaded. During the interview, Chang discussed a past rift with a showbiz personality, sparking speculation among netizens.

Filomeno directly called out Chang in her tweets, writing: “Oh bakit nahiya ka pa pangalanan ako,” followed by laughing emojis. She denied Chang’s claims about a rehearsal incident, adding, “About the rehearsal, that NEVER happened. At alam ng prod sa Showtime yun. Your mouth is full of lies talaga no.”

(Oh why are you even ashamed to name me. About the rehearsal, that NEVER happened. And the Showtime production team knew about it, actually the showtime staff told me about this earlier and they were also surprised. Your mouth is really full of lies, right?)

Filomeno also questioned Chang’s account of the supposed altercation, asking: “Sige nga bakit ko muna hinila yung buhok? Balik ko sa’yo sinabi mo, ‘Pinagtanggol ko lang sarili ko ah.’”

In the podcast, Chang did not explicitly name Filomeno but admitted to defending herself during a conflict in a dance rehearsal. She alleged that her position in the lineup was taken away, which led to a confrontation. When host Anjo Yllana jokingly asked, “Si Cristy Fermin ba yan?” Chang responded, “Hindi no, pero ka-initials niya,” fueling speculation online that she was referring to Filomeno.

Filomeno further addressed the issue with humor and frustration, tweeting: “Naka-move on na lahat. Tahimik na buhay ko, andoon pa din si ate mo Dawn. 2025 na, tumigil ka na kung hindi mo kaya mag name drop,” ending with, “Last ko na to.”

As of this writing, Dawn Chang has yet to respond to Filomeno’s tweets.
