Jennylyn Mercado, a beloved Kapuso star, has officially renewed her ties with GMA Network, her home for 21 years.
At the contract signing ceremony on Tuesday, Mercado expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the network that helped launch her career in 2003 when she became the Ultimate Survivor of the first season of StarStruck.
“I am here, I am back, I am home. Kapuso pa rin tayo, at taos-puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng tumulong sa akin, at of course, sa GMA, sa patuloy na pagmamahal at sa patuloy na pag-support at pagtanggap pa rin po sa akin,” Mercado said during the event.
(I am here, I am back, I am home. We are still Kapuso, and I sincerely thank everyone who helped me, and of course, to GMA, for their continued love and support and acceptance of me.)
The actress also expressed her gratitude to the network for trusting her again and giving her the opportunity to continue her journey with GMA’s growing roster of talents.
“To be here means so much. At wala po akong ibang nararamdaman kundi gratitude. Salamat po sa inyo,” she added.
(To be here means so much. And I have nothing but gratitude. Thank you.)
