A senior citizen from Bicol, accompanied by her daughter, claimed her share of the P25,351,115 Lotto 6/42 jackpot on 10 January 2025, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
The winning numbers, drawn on 31 December 2024, were 27-26-09-41-19-20. The jackpot was shared with another winner who purchased their ticket in Lucena City.
The winner credited her success to a System 9 betting strategy and a decade-long practice of playing family birthdate numbers. She plans to invest her winnings in a new business.
To claim the jackpot, winners must present the original, signed ticket and two valid government-issued IDs. Under the TRAIN Law, a 20 percent tax is deducted from prizes exceeding P10,000. Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prizes, after which unclaimed winnings are forfeited and added to the PCSO Charity Fund, supporting the organization’s charitable programs.
