A CCTV camera captured the moment a riding-in-tandem snatched the cellphone of a 17-year-old girl inside a subdivision in Taytay, Rizal.
According to Ma. Teresa Asuncion, the victim’s mother, she only learned about the incident when her daughter arrived home.
The 17-year-old victim recounted that she had just finished her report at school and was checking the time on her cellphone while walking home when the snatching occurred.

The stolen cellphone, valued at approximately P5,000, held significant importance to the victim as it contained essential school documents.
Teresa, the victim’s mother, reminded fellow parents to caution their children to be vigilant when using their cellphones, especially while walking or in public transportation.
