SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — An assistant manager and cash officer of a bank here shot himself in front of the bank on Friday afternoon.
The report stated that around 1:55 p.m., the bank officer knocked at a parked armored vehicle in front of the said bank.
He then borrowed a caliber .38 revolver from the security officer who opened the vehicle.
The assistant manager then pointed the gun at his left chest then shot himself, sustaining a gunshot wound and an exit wound in his back. His status remained unknown at press time.
The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Law Enforcement Department and the Philippine National Police immediately responded to the incident.
