The key to longevity

July Fajardo, 76, chisels the key he is crafting at his makeshift stall on Avenida, Manila, which has stood since 1975. According to the locksmith, each key he duplicates is carefully crafted by hand. His traditional method of key duplication costs anywhere from ₱40 to thousands of pesos, depending on the complexity of the lock and the key's size.
