LIMAY, Bataan — The personnel of the Port of Limay, under the leadership of District Collector Atty. Kriden F. Balgomera, are working as a team to achieve their tens of billions of pesos collection target.

District Collector Balgomera extended his heartfelt thanks to the port’s personnel, stakeholders, and partners for their dedication and teamwork. He emphasized their collective commitment to excellence and efficient service delivery, noting that the port collected ₱11,498,931,909.19—a surplus of ₱691,621,909.19—for December alone.

“We are working hand in hand as a team, which is why we have always achieved our billions of collection targets,” Collector Balgomera told this writer.

Annuar Datudacula, deputy district collector, shared that their collection target for December was ₱10,807,310,000.00, but they managed to exceed it, collecting ₱11,498,931,909.19.

“Our District Collector Balgomera was so happy because we achieved our collection target set by the Department of Finance despite the high expectations,” Datudacula pointed out.

Before this, the Port of Limay achieved another milestone by attaining the prestigious ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification.

District Collector Balgomera highlighted that “this milestone underscores the port's dedication to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and global quality standards.”

Balgomera also noted that this achievement ensures all Bureau of Customs (BOC) ports are now ISO-certified before the year's end.

The certification audit was conducted by TÜV SÜD, with the support of the Interim Internal Quality Management System Office (I|QMSO) led by Ms. Gladys Cabugawan and the leadership of District Collector Atty. Kriden F. Balgomera.

“The Port of Limay proudly attained ISO certification, joining the ranks of other ISO-certified ports under the Bureau of Customs,” said Collector Balgomera.
