MONDO started in showbiz as Mon Castro (an original member of ABS-CBNs Ang TV). Known for his innovative approach to music, he has been at the forefront of blending genres and pushing creative boundaries.
In our exclusive interview, he narrates how the dream collaboration started.
“We just had a chat last year, and we agreed to collaborate on a new song with Diego Mapa. It has been a long, but rewarding process. I feel so blessed to have worked with a superstar! He is also a colleague and a friend. No ‘ere’ (airs) whatsoever. Very humble and open,” Mondo said.
The artist revealed that after working with Kitchie Nadal, his future dream collabs are in the works.
“I have one with Lougee Basabas, Mojofy and Ean Mayor of UDD coming up. Aia de Leon and I are planning something as well.”
