43 contingents eye Sinulog Festival

At least 43 contingents have expressed interest in joining and competing during the Sinulog Festival on 19 January 2025, according to the Sinulog Foundation Inc. (SFI).

Of this number, 11 are from outside Cebu, 18 are from Cebu City, 11 are from Cebu Province, and three are guest contingents that will not participate in the Grand Ritual Showdown and Street Parade.

SFI cited the Bacolod City MASSKARA Festival as one of the guest performers for the Sinulog Festival 2025.

The out-of-town contingents are City of Kidapawan Performing Arts Guild, Cotabato Province; Antipolo Maytime Festival Bukluran Dance Troupe; Bais City Festival of Harvests, Negros Oriental; James Chiongbian National Trade School Performing Arts Guild, Sarangani Province; Tribu Kamanting Performing Arts Guild, Barug Dinagat Foundation; Baile Filipino Dance Guild Inc., Dipolog City; Kabilin Mindanaw, Province of Davao Occidental; Zamboanga Hermosa Festival; Tabaco College — Albay; Bakhaw Performing Arts Guild, Siargao and Dumaguete City Sandurot Festival.
