Comelec Chairperson George Garcia condemned the brutal killing.
“Election related or not, any senseless killing should be condemned as an act of cowardice,” Garcia told reporters in a Viber message.
He, however, stressed that it is still early to consider the incident as election-related.
“At this point, it is premature to even make a hunch as to the motive of the culprit,” he added.
