BALER, Aurora — The Province of Aurora has condemned insurgency thru two peace rallies held in the towns of Maria Aurora and Dipaculao during the 56th anniversary of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).

Organized by the 91st Infantry (SINAGTALA) Battalion, 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division of the Philippine Army, the peace rallies demonstrated the unwavering commitment of Aurora communities to peace and development.

These inspiring events showcased a powerful display of unity and resolve. The rallies focused on the theme of rejecting violence and embracing peace for a brighter future.

In Maria Aurora, a rally led by 2LT Julie F. Latorza (ART) PA, brought together the MCSSP Team of CCoy, 91IB, 7ID, PA, with the Alyansa na Nagkakaisang Mamamayan para sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran — People’s Organizations, community members, and Barangay Officials. Guided by Barangay Kagawad Francisco Ancheta Jr. of Barangay Bazal, the event took place at the Covered Court in Barangay Bazal.

Simultaneously, in Dipaculao, Cpl Jayson S. Rivera (Inf) PA led an equally successful rally, mobilizing the MCSSP Team of B91IB, 7ID, PA, alongside People’s Organizations and community members. This gathering further strengthened the community’s collective rejection of the CPP-NPA-NDF’s ideology.

Both rallies resulted in a strong, unified condemnation of the CPP-NPA-NDF, with participants pledging their unwavering dedication to peace and stability. The remarkable success of these events highlights the exceptional collaboration between the military and civilian populations, working together to build a more secure and prosperous future for Aurora.
