Mega Prime Foods, the company behind the canned sardines, launched a new set of canned products, just in time for its consumers to elevate their Noche Buena dishes for Christmas.

Under Mega Prime, there are 17 canned goods products, including fruit cocktails and different flavors of nata de coco, a perfect partner for fruit salad dishes.

Other products include oyster sauce, hummus dip, spiced vinegar, vermicelli, and more.

Recently, Mega Prime Foods Inc. invited content creators and food entrepreneurs to show their talents and cooking skills in enhancing recipes with Mega Prime products.

Chef Hazel, known on YouTube as Hazel Cheffy, showcased her recipe for Creamy Chicken.

Throughout the cooking session, she used different Mega Prime products such as ground pepper, iodized salt, mushroom pieces and stems.

Marian Rivera, one of the long-time endorsers of the food brand, tasted Hazel’s recipe, as she also shared some of her favorite Christmas meals.

“Menudo, while my favorite dish from Dingdong’s mother is the Potato Salad and the Leche Flan. It is so delicious,” Rivera shared.

Most Delicious, Best Quality

Mega Prime’s vice president and head of Marketing, Albet Buddahim, shared that they are selling the best quality products against its local competitors.

“We are not cutting corners. Our focus is not to deliver the cheapest product, but the high-quality products that we can provide at the most affordable price.”

Buddahim added that they are selling the most delicious product — as they lower the price, just fair for the Filipino market.

Despite the six consecutive typhoons that ravaged various parts of Luzon, Buddahim assured that their local plants remained unaffected, ensuring that the manufacturing of their products would proceed as usual.

“We have our fishing vessels, and they weren’t damaged. In our plants, yes, they weren’t affected as well by the strong typhoons.”

Mega has two plants in Zamboanga and one in Batangas.

In addition to its popular sardines, Mega Prime also offers Jimm’s Coffee, which was acquired in May 2024, along with various sardine variants and sparkling juice under the Primo brand.
