The collaboration between fashion designer Jor-el Espina and notable denim brand Viktor Manila began last year when Jor-el started wearing Viktor’s popular skirts. What started as admiration for each other’s work evolved into a serious conversation between two distinct designers. A brilliant fusion of Viktor’s bold, avant-garde aesthetic with Espina’s elements of Filipino heritage. This creative synergy led to the creation of a collection that celebrates contemporary Filipino artistry, which was proudly launched last August at ArteFino 2024.
