Cha Hak Yeon, also known as N from the K-pop boy band VIXX, has been cast as the lead in the upcoming BL drama Neighbor Killer, as reported by Xportsnews on 26 November.

His agency, 51K, confirmed the news, revealing that the actor is currently filming for the project.

This marks Cha Hak Yeon’s debut in the BL drama genre. According to his agency, “He joined the project due to his desire to explore diverse genres.”

Neighbor Killer tells the story of a professional baseball player and his fan, with Cha Hak Yeon portraying Yoon Je, a devoted fan of the athlete. The drama is reportedly in talks to be released on TVING.

Cha Hak Yeon first rose to fame as a member of VIXX, debuting in May 2012. He ventured into acting in 2014 with his role as Noah in MBC's Hotel King.
