P331M target collection for Gensan permits


General Santos City- The city is focusing on reaching its P331 million target collection for business permit application and renewal this year.
In a statement, Gensan City Administrator Franklin Gacal disclosed that the administration of City Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao is hell-bent on even exceeding the target collection by making more effective the ease of doing business of the city.
"We are implementing plans and programs that would lift the economic environment for our stakeholders," Gacal said.
In 2023, Gensan was the topnotcher by obtaining a 9.0 percent economic growth in the SOCSKSARGEN Region as per reports from the Philippine Statistics Office (PSA).
As of this writing, the Business Permits and Licensing Division has informed that even that they will continue to serve the needs of entrepreneurs and businessmen even on weekends as part of their one- stop shop campaign. A modern approach has also been introduced through the Business Online Billing System for faster business registration.
