Israel's military is flooding select tunnels in Gaza with seawater to flush out Hamas terrorists using it for hiding, planning, storing weapons and attacking Israeli troops.
A United States official told CNN Tuesday that Israel's military informed Washington of the test flooding of tunnels it believe are not being used to hide remaining 137 Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the 153 nations have passed a resolution at the United Nations General Assembly demanding that Israel stop ground offensive in the Palestinian enclave so displaced civilians can be helped.
According to the Hamas-run health ministry, the war has killed more than 18,400 people, mostly women and children.
The war erupted after Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on 7 October, killing 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and dragging nearly 250 others into Gaza as hostages.
