

Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija — The Philippine Army's 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division held a 45-day Infantry Orientation Course Training here for 264 privates that culminated on Monday.
According to 7ID commander Major General Andrew Costelo, the graduation ceremony for the Infantry Orientation Course was conducted at the Lt. Galido Grandstand, Zagala Field of Fort Magsaysay, and was attended by senior military officers, enlisted personnel, and dependents of the graduates.
Costelo lauded the 7th Division Training School led by Colonel Charlieben B. Delamide INF PA, Commandant of 7DTS, and Captain Narciso Braga PA, Course Director of INFOC Classes 07 and 08-2023.
He added that the guidance of the school for the newly minted soldiers have molded them to become what they are today: Disciplined, dedicated, strong-willed and resilient as he recognized the families of the new graduates for their support and sacrifices, as it has been the cornerstone of the latter's success in becoming a soldier.
"To the privates of INFOC Classes 07 & 08 — 2023, as you stand at the threshold of your careers, remember this is just the beginning. Your courage and resilience have brought you this far; let them guide you further. Embrace every chance to learn and lead, and make your mark," Costelo said.
