2 druggies nabbed, P95K shabu seized

An anti-drug sting resulted in the arrest of two suspected drug personalities in Taguig City. 

A report showed the operation was conducted on 10 December (Sunday) at about 11:15 p.m. by Taguig City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit along MRT Street, Purok 1, Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City. 

The operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects identified as alias Taliban, 47 years old and alias Eugene, 48 years old for alleged violation of Sections 5 and 11 Art II of RA 9165.

Authorities during the operation recovered 12 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 14 grams valued at P95,200, two P100 bill utilized as buy-bust money, two coin purse and two cellular phones.

The evidence seized will be turned over to SPD Forensic Unit for laboratory examination while complaint for Violation of Section 5 and 11 Art II of RA 9165 is being prepared against the suspects for filing at Taguig City Prosecutor's Office.
