Quezon City Police District director, P/Brig.Gen. Redrico Maranan, on Friday, assured QCitizens of public safety this festive season.
Maranan told DAILY TRIBUNE that he has ordered his men to conduct a continued and thorough inspection in all public places like bus terminals, malls, and other places where many people usually gather.
The inspection, he added, was geared towards verifying the implementation of stringent safety protocols and robust security measures, thus fostering a secure Yuletide environment for both commuters and the broader public.
"Recognizing the imminent surge in travel during this time, the QCPD remains steadfast in its commitment to upholding a safe and orderly environment at key transportation hubs," Maranan said.
"Significantly, as the Yuletide season approaches, the QCPD collaborates closely with transportation authorities and terminal operators to proactively address potential issues and sustain heightened security throughout the holiday period," the QCPD Chief added.
"I strongly urge the public to remain vigilant, strictly adhere to safety guidelines, and promptly report any suspicious activities to law enforcement," emphasized Maranan, highlighting the collective responsibility to ensure a safe and enjoyable festive season for all.
