The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said on Undas eve that 42 airports under its management remain in normal operation and no adverse incidents were reported.

CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio said that the fast and effective processing of passengers, particularly at the check-in counters, was the result of collaboration with local agencies, including the PNP-AVSEU, the Office for Transportation Security (OTS), the Department of Tourism (DOT), the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB), and local and foreign airlines.

Malasakit Help Kits were given to passengers arriving and departing at airports in Zamboanga, Pagadian, and other parts of the country by CAAP personnels. The Malasakit Help Kits include a juice drink, tissues, hand sanitizer, a face towel, candies, cupcakes, biscuits, bottled water, a folding fan, and two face masks. They also gave kits to young people, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

To provide passengers with a one-stop shop for support in airports, CAAP established Malasakit Help Desks in each airport.
