192 Manila rice retailers get P15k aid
Cash subsidy are for those affected by the order implementing price ceilings for rice to prevent prices from skyrocketing.

Around 192 rice retailers received P15,000 in financial assistance from the local government of Manila on Thursday.
The distribution was held at the San Andres Sports Complex and was led by Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna, Vice Mayor Yul Servo, and Department of Trade and Industry Undersecretary Ugs Uvero in Malate, Manila.
Lacuna was assisted by a representative of the Department of Social Services in handing cash aid to rice retailers in response to the call of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to help small rice traders sell rice at a lower and controlled price ceiling.
Recipients came from 11 public markets and two private markets in the city of Manila.
