Korean pop artist Sandara Park was "surprised and flattered" to learn that Filipino fans still recognize her up to this day. Why would they not be? After all, she is the "Pambansang Krungkrung ng Pilipinas".
The 2NE1 member dumped a series of photos of herself on Twitter taken in Clark, Pampanga.
Forever~!!!" She wrote in the caption.
Sandara became famous in the Philippines as a contestant on the talent show Star Circle Quest in 2004. After a successful acting and singing career in the country, she returned to South Korea in 2007.
So, that's more than 15 years she's been out of the local limelight; thus, she can't help herself but be delighted to meet Filipinos who are still supportive of her.
She said.
Although it's not confirmed yet, netizens speculated that Sandara was in the country to shoot the Korean variety show "Idol Truck", after she had been spotted with the cast of the show at the airport.
