Actress Bela Padilla was reduced to a mere fan at the sight of Korean superstar Song Joong-ki when they recently met at Cannes Film Festival.

Padilla, who attended the prestigious festival as a director and producer, took to Instagram to post her selfie with the 37-year-old "Descendants of the Sun" and "Vincenzo" star.

But it wasn't just her who gushed over Song as her squad likewise expressed delight over the chance encounter.

Angelica Panganiban commented: "Paki add siya sa group chat pls."

Something that Kim Chiu echoed by saying: "Pa add na sha sa GC momsy!!!! May sasabihin ako!!!! pede pa video greet."

Each of the comments, as well as those by Padilla's other celebrity friends, was answered by the "Yung Libro sa Napanood Ko" star.

 "Good morning. He's so chill and friendly," Padilla captioned her post.

She also thanked director Adolfo Alix Jr., for "pointing him out."

Ryan Bang and Kuya Kim Atienza likewise commented on the post.
