The NLEX Road Warriors of the Philippine Basketball Association have decided to terminate the remaining contract of JR Quiñahan after the big man committed "several infractions of his Uniform Players' Contract."
Quiñahan was caught in a controversy a couple of weeks ago when he figured in a fight with a team made up of foreigners in Cebu.
It was learned that Quiñahan didn't get permission from the team and the PBA to play in that game.
Teams interested in acquiring him could now start negotiating, NLEX said.
"NLEX Road Warriors thank Quiñahan for his services to the team and wish him luck in his future endeavors," the NLEX statement read.
