No deal has been finalized between the University of Santo Tomas and San Miguel Corporation.

Growling Tigers team manager Waiyip Chong told Daily Tribune that nothing has been set as SMC sports director Alfrancis Chua was just a guest at the coaching staff's dinner.

"We had dinner in Quezon City and we invited Fr. Rodel (Cansiano). Coach Pido then invited Boss Al (Chua) to dinner and he accepted," Chong said.

"Until now, UST is still convincing San Miguel and Boss Al."
