There will be no home games for Caloocan Batang Kankaloo for the rest of the 2026 MPBL season. 

This, after the league imposed sanctions for Caloocan due to the forfeiture of a scheduled match against Biñan Tatak Gel last 5 September at Polomolok, South Cotabato. 

In the statement, MPBL stated that no matches will be played at Caloocan, on top of a P5 million fine and “a warning that any future infraction may result in more serious penalties,”

The league also assured that Franchise Owners are held accountable in meeting their responsibilities. 

Last 10 September, Caloocan suffered a 59-81 meltdown vs top-ranked team Abra Solid North Weavers, sending them to a 20-4 win-loss record and is currently ranked fifth in the standings. 

A day before their supposed match vs Biñan, Batang Kankaloo announced through social media that they will not be able to participate in the match against Binan due to an undisclosed reason and proceeded to express their apologies to their fans.
