Pressed for time in finding suitable presents for loved ones and friends? Food, especially when it is unique and artisanal, will always evoke happiness in whoever receives it. Here are some more suggestions of Christmas treats to share with the people on your list.
Holiday traditions
The French Baker has started several Christmas traditions that it carries on every year. These include the Gingerbread House (P980), gingerbread cookies (P85), and the loaded 454-gram Classic Fruitcake (P595). There is also the Brioche Bordelaise (P580), which, in its bundt form, looks like a festive Yuletide wreath with its glazed fruits, cherries, raisins, nuts and drip icing. Also on the Christmas "menu" is Pure Danish Butter Cookies (P985) in a glass jar, with one kilogram of piped cookies made with 100 percent pure butter. These are available at all The French Baker branches. Orders for delivery may be made via www.thefrenchbakeronline.com.
