With Christmas just around the corner, the Philippine National Police is intensifying its efforts to reduce crime incidents and to strictly implement various laws in the country during the Yuletide season.
The PNP stressed that it will also initiate measures to reduce vehicular accidents which may result in homicide, physical injury and damage to property and will assist the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Land Transportation Office in strictly implementing RA 10586 or the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2013.
PNP Units are also under instructions to strictly enforce RA 7183 or the Act Regulating the Sale, Manufacture and Use of Firecrackers and other Pyrotechnique Devices to ensure that the manufacturing, distribution and use of regulated and illegal firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices are at all times in check with the end in view of no or lesser damage to property and injuries to people.
