Robredo back in Manila as UP Law School event speaker

"This trip almost didn't happen," former Vice President Leni Robredo on 26 November posted on her Facebook page, referring to her return to Manila to speak at the University of the Philippines College of Law Grand Alumni Association homecoming.
Robredo has been staying in the United States where she was invited to be a Hauser Leader of the Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership,
"I found out Monday evening (21 November) that I lost my passport. Needed to go back to New York on Tuesday (22 November) to look for it. My persistence paid off at the very last hour. Thank you to 3 unexpected guardian angels who helped me find it," she recalled.
"I am not a UP Law Alumna and I am honored to have been invited to keynote the event. Always a joy to be with the community. Congratulations to this year's Golden and Silver Jubilarians – Batch '72 and Batch '97."
Robredo ended her post: "Great to be home. This will be an extra busy week for me."
