The Philippine National Police's relentless efforts to track down members of terrorist groups rounded up more than a hundred communist terrorist group personalities in its three-month anti-terrorism operations nationwide.

A total of 103 insurgents were arrested from 3 August to 3 November 2022, and based on data, the Police Regional Office 11 had the greatest number of arrested individuals with 39 personalities, followed by PRO 13 with 20, PRO 8 and PRO 10 with nine rebels each, PRO 6 with seven, PRO 2 with six, PRO 1 with four, two in PRO 3, PRO 12, and NCRPO, and one each in PRO 4B, PRO 5 and PRO COR.

PNP chief Police General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. stressed that the intensified police operations against members of communist terrorist groups will continue.

"This is evidently another significant accomplishment of the PNP against terrorist groups. Continue implementing the relentless program and policy that aims to stop the criminality, We congratulate our ranks in maintaining peace and order bringing a beautiful life to every Filipino family," Azurin said.
