The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority on 25 October allowed flights to and from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport to resume from 5 am to 5 pm.

Passengers are strongly advised to coordinate with airlines for the status of their flights before proceeding to the airport.

On 23 October, a Korean Airlines Airbus overshot the MCIA runway and made an emergency landing. All passengers were safe.
