About 35 individuals were arrested from 5 a.m. on September 21 to 5 a.m. on September 22, in the intensified anti-criminality operations conducted in the Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela (Camanava) area of the Northern Police District (NPD).
In the campaign against the Wanted Persons, 17 were arrested by virtue of the arrest warrant including the Top 7 Most Wanted Persons and two Most Wanted Persons of the Caloocan City Police Station and Valenzuela City Police Station.
The Top 7 Most Wanted Person in Caloocan was identified as John Carlo D. Leuterio, 22, of Barangay 18, was nabbed for Acts of Lasciviousness while the Most Wanted Person is Mark Jay Labanta, 23, of Brgy.171, was facing Robbery with Violence Against or Intimidation of Persons.
The Most Wanted Person of the Valenzuela Police was identified as Joven Lorenzo, 28, of Barangay Parada,charged with violating the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016.
He was apprehended at the Custodial Facility Unit of the Meycauayan City Police Station in Barangay Camalig, Meycauayan City, Bulacan.
Meanwhile eight more of the 14 Most Wanted Persons were arrested by the Caloocan Police; three were arrested by the Malabon City Police Station; one was netted by the Navotas City Police Station, and two were caught by the District Special Operations Unit.
In this regard, 14 suspects were arrested in the Anti-Illegal Drug Operations and in Caloocan, seven in Malabon, two in Navotas, and two in Valenzuela.
As much as P180,200.00 worth of shabu and P444.00 worth of marijuana was confiscated.
While in the fight against illegal gambling, two each were also arrested in Malabon and Valenzuela.
