Vice President Sara Z. Duterte has assured the public that the programs offered by her office will be available to all Filipinos throughout the country.
Duterte issued the statement during the blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Office of the Vice President at 11F, Robinsons Cybergate Plaza, EDSA corner Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City.
"We will implement these programs not only in the National Capital Region, but also in the Visayas and Mindanao," Duterte said. Among the OVP programs are medical, livelihood and burial assistance, and free rides.
During the ceremony, Duterte acknowledged the exemplary employees from the seven OVP satellite offices in Dagupan, Cebu, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Davao, Surigao del Sur and Bacolod.
She said the establishment of the new OVP central office is aimed at making their work faster and more efficient now that employees are under one roof.
