The cases of rape and acts of lasciviousness Taguig City prosecutors filed against TV host/actor Vhong Navarro have been raffled off to two judges on 8 September.
The rape case was assigned to Judge Loralie C. Datahan of Taguig City, Regional Trial Court Branch 69, while the acts of lasciviousness case is in the hands of Judge Angela Francesca Din of Taguig City RTC Branch 116.
The two female magistrates are set to issue arrest warrants within a week.
Prosecutors had earlier filed a criminal case against Navarro over the alleged rape of model Deniece Cornejo in 2014.
The incident was said to have happened on 17 January 2014 at Cornejo's rented condominium unit in Bonifacio Global City.
The assignment of the rape and acts of lasciviousness cases, signed by Senior Asst. City Prosecutor Irish Kay del Valle, was dated 9 August, but was made public only on 9 September.
