Sen. Bong Go visited Balungao, Pangasinan, and provided aid to disadvantaged Pangasinense who have been adversely affected by the ongoing global health crisis on Thursday, 8 September.
Go, declared an adopted son of Balungao last September 5 in recognition of his immeasurable support and assistance to the municipality, personally led the relief activity at the municipal gymnasium.
Go and his team distributed grocery packs, masks, vitamins, meals, and shirts to 250 residents.
Some likewise received bicycles, cellular phones, shoes, watches, and balls for basketball and volleyball.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development, in turn, provided livelihood grants through its Sustainable Livelihood Program to help the residents start anew.
