Law enforcement agencies have dismantled several drug shipments and arrested seven individuals in coordinated operations across four regions, seizing over ₱27.7 million worth of suspected illegal substances from October 13 to early October 14.

According to the Philippine National Police (PNP), the biggest single interception took place at a cargo facility inside the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, where authorities recovered two parcels containing an estimated 3.745 kilograms of suspected ketamine valued at ₱18.7 million — accounting for more than two-thirds of the total haul.

The joint operation involved the PDEA, PNP Drug Enforcement Group, Bureau of Customs, National Bureau of Investigation, and Aviation Security Group.

Elsewhere, operations in Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro City netted 1.03 kilograms of shabu worth nearly ₱6.3 million.

Additional seizures were recorded in Cainta, Rizal, with ₱1.74 million worth of shabu, and in Capiz where 140 grams valued at ₱952,000 were recovered.

"We take these results seriously because every shipment or supply of illegal drugs that we intercept is something that will no longer reach our communities," said PNP Chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

He credited the results to tighter inter-agency coordination, emphasizing that sustained intelligence-driven operations and public cooperation remain key to cutting off drug supply chains.

All seized items remain in official custody pending laboratory analysis, while those arrested face appropriate legal charges.
