PVL marks 10th season in Cebu

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) turns 10 with bigger stars, a bold new championship format and a season-opening showcase in Cebu that promises to set the tone for its landmark staging.
Adding even more sparkle to the milestone season is the return of Alas Pilipinas’ biggest names, who are set to rejoin their respective club teams after months of national-team duty and bring with them valuable international experience.
The celebration begins 10 October at the SM Seaside Cebu Arena, where the PVL launches a first-of-its-kind three-leg All-Filipino Conference featuring the Siklab, Sigla and Sinag series — a season-long race that puts a premium not only on winning, but also on consistency, depth and endurance.
And with the country’s top players now back in the fold, the opening leg promises to have no shortage of star power.
Leading the much-anticipated return are Bella Belen of Capital1, Sisi Rondina and Eya Laure of Choco Mucho, Jia de Guzman and Bernadeth Pons of Creamline, and Akari’s Justine Jazareno and Mars Alba — all set to see action on opening day.
