At about 8:20 a.m., personnel of the Mangaldan Municipal Police Station served a warrant of arrest on a 29-year-old mechanic who was already detained at the station’s custodial facility.

The warrant was issued in connection with a qualified theft case, involving allegations under Articles 308 and 309 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 10951. Bail was recommended at P24,000. The man remains in police custody pending court proceedings.

In Dagupan City, Police Station 1 personnel, assisted by the City Intelligence Unit and the City Investigation Detection and Monitoring Unit, arrested a 29-year-old Lingayen resident at around 2:30 p.m.

Police said the man was arrested on a warrant for alleged psychological violence under Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act. Bail was recommended at P72,000. He was brought to the Dagupan City custodial facility.

At about 2:50 p.m., Mangaldan police arrested a 28-year-old resident of the town on a warrant for theft under Criminal Case No. 26-8421. Bail was recommended at P10,000.

The accused was placed under the custody of the Mangaldan Municipal Police Station for further legal proceedings.
