One of Five MPV passengers rescued after Agana bridge collapsed


One of the five passengers of an MPV was rescued from the Tarlac River after the Agana Bridge in Tarlac City collapsed in the Tarlac River on 29 August 2026.
According to the Tarlac City Government, they are currently conducting a search and rescue operation for the remaining four passengers of the said MPV that fell into the Tarlac River.
The rescued passenger was taken to the Tarlac Provincial Hospital for medical assessment.
Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap warned the public not to come near the Aquino and Agana Bridge as the current state of both might worsen due to the strong current of the Tarlac River.
