    • P6.36-trillion strategic investments

Strategic investments fast-tracked under the government’s Green Lane initiative reached P6.36 trillion as of 31 July 2026, with renewable energy accounting for the overwhelming majority of projects and investment value.

The One-Stop Action Center for Strategic Investments (OSAC-SI) certified 244 projects with a combined cost of P6.36 trillion, or $111.93 billion, and an estimated 425,454 jobs.

However, 10 renewable energy projects worth P137.47 billion were removed from the list after their service contracts were surrendered to the Department of Energy (DoE).

    RE projects

Renewable energy accounted for 187 certified projects worth P5.46 trillion and was expected to generate 276,469 jobs. The projects are spread nationwide, with the largest concentrations in Region IV-A, Region I and Region III.

Digital infrastructure followed with 10 projects valued at P405.12 billion and an estimated 20,393 jobs. The projects are intended to strengthen connectivity, data transmission, data centers and access to digital services.

Public-Private Partnership, infrastructure and water projects numbered six but carried P416.75 billion in investments and were projected to create 113,363 jobs, underscoring their significant employment and public-service impact.

    Projects still being developed

The pipeline remains heavily weighted toward projects still being developed. A total of 166 projects worth P5.52 trillion were in the pre-development stage, largely driven by renewable energy.

Meanwhile, 46 projects worth P368.64 billion were under construction, while nine projects valued at P190.21 billion were in pre-operation. Another 23 projects worth P286.17 billion were already operational.

Other certified projects covered food security, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals, with investments aimed at strengthening agricultural supply chains, domestic production and local pharmaceutical capacity.
