Chua: Prosecutors absence in impeachment due to preparations, duty in Congress

“Just because we are here for the impeachment doesn’t mean we are neglecting our other work.”

Twenty-six distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and four dependents from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have safely returned to the Philippines.

A total of 30 OFWs and dependents arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City aboard Emirates Flight EK334. They were welcomed and assisted by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

OWWA ensured the orderly reception of the arrivals and the provision of necessary airport assistance as part of the agency's continuous service and care for our OFWs and their families.

OWWA's assistance doesn't end at the airport. In partnership with the concerned OWWA Regional Welfare Offices, their condition will continue to be monitored, and the necessary welfare assistance and other appropriate services will be provided to support returning OFWs and their families as they start a new life in the country.

OWWA continues to be a partner for OFWs—from their safe return home to their recovery and fresh start together with their families.
