A steel plate temporarily installed over an expansion joint on the southbound lane of the EDSA Magallanes Flyover in Makati City was dislodged again.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said it placed an orange traffic cone over the damaged portion of the expansion joint to warn motorists.
Motorists were advised to avoid driving over the affected section to prevent accidents and vehicle damage.
Last week, four vehicles were damaged after their tires fell through the portion of the expansion joint where the steel plate had been installed.
The EDSA Magallanes Flyover was earlier placed under rehabilitation in March this year.
