A 68-year-old alleged drug pusher took a flying leap from the second floor of a house in Sampaloc, Manila, apparently hoping to escape police — only to land, quite literally, in the arms of the law.

A video showed several people scrambling to carry the injured suspect, who was perched on a chair after the fall left him with serious injuries to his legs.

The suspect was eventually arrested along Maria Cristina Street in Barangay 455.

Police identified him as an alleged drug pusher and a high-value individual, along with a 53-year-old woman who was also arrested.

Authorities seized 525 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.57 million from the pair.

The man was recovering in a hospital from his injuries, while the woman remained detained at the Manila Police District Drug Enforcement Unit.

Both suspects face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
