P5-M RIVER WALL COLLAPSES

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced that the government has proposed ₱107.4 billion for flood control projects under the 2027 national budget, including funds for the maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and improvement of existing infrastructure. Of the amount, ₱19.6 billion is earmarked for ongoing foreign-assisted projects, while ₱3.41 billion is proposed for the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s flood control program.
