Aboitiz Foundation has welcomed a new batch of outstanding students to the Aboitiz Future Leaders (AFL) Scholarship Program Batch 2026, strengthening its commitment to developing the next generation of Filipino nation-builders through quality education, leadership development and career readiness.

The new batch join more than 1,200 college scholars currently supported by Aboitiz Foundation across the country, bringing the program’s total population to 1,242. As one of the Foundation’s flagship program pillars, the AFL Scholarship Program invests in high-potential students by expanding access to higher education while equipping them with the skills, values and opportunities to lead meaningful change in their communities and chosen professions.

Selected through a competitive screening process, the new scholars represent some of the country’s leading universities and are pursuing degrees in psychology, communication, journalism, communication research, agriculture, computer science, data science, civil, chemical, industrial and mechanical engineering, among other disciplines that are critical to the country’s future workforce.

The AFL Batch 2026 is composed of Maria Jaesha Abadia, Jowelyn Ecaonapo, Ralph Ian Espelita, Chrizelle Joy Genosa and Charles Genesis Solana from the University of the Philippines Cebu; Maria Angela Bulanadi, Amir Janjosef Fajardo, Charise Marae Isidro, Nicole Daine Salvador, William Yohan Pinlac and Miguel Alexander Villarica from UP Diliman; Josiah Nathaniel Camila, Jasper Kurt Corsal, Katrina Joyce Cueto, Makki Kanani and Althaea Ezra Moldez from UP Baguio; Liander Theb Bacalso, Alyannah Qhloee Claveria, Stephanie Dajao, Feevol Into and Maria Ysabel Mejia from UP Mindanao; Mathew Abalos, Rose Ann Delos Reyes, Joshua Florendo, Geuel Gave Lalu and Karl James Mendoza from Pampanga State Agricultural University; Kollin Kate Cayco from the University of Santo Tomas; Anaiah Justo from Ateneo de Manila University; Askia Khryss Roxas from Mapúa University; and Emanuel Tan Du from De La Salle University-Manila.

Announcing the new cohort on social media, Aboitiz Foundation shared its excitement as the scholars begin the next chapter of their academic and leadership journey.
