Officers from the Muntinlupa City Police Station arrested an armed man and seized an unlicensed firearm late Saturday night following a report from a concerned citizen in Barangay Bayanan.
Personnel from the Putatan Police Sub-Station responded around 11 p.m. to a telephone report about a man openly carrying a firearm while walking around the PNR Site in Sunrise Subdivision. The man's actions had caused alarm among local residents.

Police recovered an Armscor .38-caliber revolver with a defaced serial number, one live round of .38-caliber ammunition, and a brown Gucci sling bag used to transport the weapon.
