The VinFast VF 3 has started to find its place among Filipino motorists who want a small electric car that can handle daily travel without taking up too much road space or adding heavily to monthly expenses.

Its compact body suits crowded streets and tight parking areas, and its electric powertrain offers lower running costs than a gasoline-powered car.

That mix gives the VF 3 a broad market that includes office workers, small business owners, weekend travelers and buyers who are considering their first EV.

The model has already gained a strong following in nearby markets. VinFast sold 20,231 units of the VF 3 in Vietnam from January to May 2026. In Indonesia, the vehicle accounted for more than 70 percent of the brand’s sales during the same period, with 1,093 units delivered.
